Here are two bathroom projects in Villeray, in Montreal's Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough. The first is built around a geometric tile wall and wood; the second plays on black-and-white contrast.
A wall of black, grey and ochre triangle tile on a white background sets the tone and carries on into the glass shower. In front of it sits a floating wood vanity with an integrated sink, under a round backlit mirror.
Large marble-look floor tiles brighten the room, and a black shelf in the shower keeps toiletries within reach.

Here, a white freestanding tub is fed by a black wall-mounted filler. The shower, closed by a black-framed sliding door, is finished in white marble-look tile with a black hand shower and corner shelves.
On the floor, glossy black-and-white patterned tile ties together the tub, the shower and the sink, topped with a matte black faucet under a backlit mirror.

Two very different approaches, with the same attention to detail: materials chosen to give each room its own character, and surfaces made for everyday life.
